My name is Dr. A. Breeze Harper. I am the director and founder of the Sistah Vegan Project (www.sistahvegan.com). I'm currently a Research Fellow in the Dept. of Human Ecology at the University of California, Davis. I am also the editor and creator of the book Sistah Vegan! Black Female Vegans Speak on Food, Identity, Health and Society (Lantern Books 2010). I am putting together a conference this fall called “Embodied and Critical Perspectives on Veganism by Black Women and Allies.” It is scheduled for September 14, 2013.
I am looking for sponsors for this event and invite your organization or business to consider sponsoring us. We need to pay the keynote speakers, offer scholarships for those who cannot pay the registration fee, pay to advertise the event, pay for webinar services, as well as pay for other services and things to make this first-ever of it’s kind conference possible. - $100-$250 earns you Silver sponsorship status. This means we include your business or organization name and logo on the side of our conference schedule, with a hyperlink to your website.
- $250-$500 earns you Gold sponsorship status. This means we include your business or organization name and logo on top of our conference schedule (hyperlinked to your site), as well as on the header of our registration form.
- $500-$999 earns you Platinum sponsorship status. This means we include your business or organization name and logo on top of our conference schedule (hyperlinked to your site), as well as on the header of our registration form. In addition, we will remind the audience of your organization or business by mentioning it several times during the conference.
- $1000+ earns you Platinum Plus sponsorship status.
